I have not been to a HuHot for a monkey's age, so for me, personally, this was exciting to finally get to once again. Sadly, our time was a bit off for lunch. So for us, we had a pretty slim team working the cookery part of the experience. Of course, that did mean our meals were taking some sweet time to get cooked before we can finally chow down like starving beasts. That food, though? Solid. The meats didn't taste off and the veggies were fresh for that day. The only problem putside getting it cooked was some sauces were mixed up. Overall, it was good to revisit this type of store.
Veggies are so important! I try to make up for past carbs and protein only meals. But seriously, great food. Cooks are good. Soft serve is better now: correct mixture or ingredients. Helpful “host” / register people.
I was nervous to try this place out because of the reviews, but still gave it a shot. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to requests. They made my noddles to exactly how I wanted it. The amount of options was awesome. The sauces were all unique too. I enjoyed my 2 plates. The ice cream was also yummy. The only thing that was weird is paying at the beginning before even sitting down and the question of typing comes up. I still gave a tip, but it was unusual. Other than that, the bathroom and the resturant were overall clean.
The staff are on point in every way. The presentation of food and toppings are clean, stocked and well labeled. Food is top quality and fresh. Temperature of the food at all stages is perfect. The taste of your meal is as good as you design it. The cooks are exceptional, very professional and friendly. Give it a go. You'll come back for more.
Huhot Mongolian grill is a buffet style restaurant where you pick your ingredients and they cook it for you on their cylinder grill top. They have lots of different proteins as well as vegetables. A table full of oils and sauces to choose from. So many delectable choices to be made. The best part is their staff, the ladies are constantly walking around picking up plates and offerings refills. Prices are average for two people anywhere else you go. They offer unlimited serve ice cream also.
I wish the one in Arvada didn't close, now I have to go way out East to find a HuHot... Regardless of how busy the place is it's always good... because that's how I customize it I wasn't sure about switching to the pay-first-fast-casual format but I'm leaning back towards it working for this place, that way you don't have to worry about catching a server for a drink before grabbing another plate. I particularly like the variety of sauces, and "condiments" like chili oil, garlic oil, soy sauce, etc.
This is excellent!! It’s a great value and you can customize exactly the flavors you like!!! I asked the people in line for some tips on how to make a tasty dish and the common thread was ADD A LOT OF SAUCE!!! We both added a lot of sauce and it came out phenomenal!!!
